New figures recently released have confirmed that the number of patients who have to wait more than an hour to be transferred to A&E from an ambulance has now doubled in the last two years. According to NHS England patients should wait no longer than fifteen minutes.
These delays have a knock-on effect on the rest of the emergency services system including delays to dispatch ambulances to new calls.
With the NHS under continued pressure, more people are turning to Private Medical Insurance for care they can rely on. Over 4 million people in the UK now have PMI; around 10% of the population. PMI can provide reliable, comprehensive care. With private medical insurance, you can get prompt diagnosis and treatment, and avoid long NHS queues by utilising the UK’s private hospitals and health care. You could get quick access to comprehensive care without the wait.
Your cover will allow you to have some control over where and when you are seen, giving you choice and flexibility in treatment. You could even get access to treatments that aren’t available on the NHS. A private medical insurance policy could ensure you have peace of mind and you, your partner and your children have excellent bespoke medical care.
Now is the right time to get PMI – join the 4 million people who have already bought medical insurance, and get covered before prices rise. Be a part of the 10%.
